Early Game mini guide

Heres something that could benefit a lot of players.
new and old.
Early game strategy's!
Now I know it may sound simple, but its something a LOT of players fail to do.
Last hitting and denying creeps. Denying your creeps makes the opponent in your lane gain less exp and much less if there are 2. Last hitting is quite easy. You want to aim for the sweet spot on creeps. In my opinion when the creep has around 90 hp. Go for a hit, if you're ranged chances are by the time your projectile reaches the creep it will have just enough hp to be killed.
Items! Boots and tengos are not early game items. Some of the best items to take early Are.
-Magic stick
-ring of regeneration
-tengos
-soul ring
-Bottle
Early game, the more time you are off lane regening hp. The less exp and gold you will get, the the farther you will be behind. Just these cheap simple items can make a big difference.
Another thing to know, if you are against a solo. Harass them! Take lane domination, keep them off the creeps; And prevent them from last hitting and denying.
If you have a partner with you, tell them to creep pull, (only applicable to bottom lane for Sentinel, or top for scourge) Creep pulling gives you both some solo time, as well as denying their soloer exp.
If you are a ganking hero, Its best to last hit and farm till about level 5. Start roaming when you have some boots. Heros like Potm, Tinker Are great gankers. And great solo heros. Just ask your team who needs help.

Ursa Warrior!

Well, I thought I would start this off by talking about my favorite hero in DotA.
And that is Ursa!
Let me go over his base stats and skills first off.

Range: Melee | Move Speed: 310
Primary: AGI
Str: 23 + 2.9 | Agi: 18 + 2.1 | Int: 16 + 1.5
Damage: 45 – 49 | HP: 587 | Mana: 208
HP Regen: 1.13 | Mana Regen: 0.65
Attack Speed: 1.39 | Armor: 5

A list of his Skills can be found Here.

Now right off the bat, the one thing I love about this hero is his weird stats.
He IS a carry hero, with a primary of AGI.
But his starting strength and strength gain are higher then his Agi gains.
This makes him one tank carry, having more base hp then all other hero late game.

Now a lot of people build Ursa as just another carry, stacking on AGI and attack speed items.
I do nothing of the sort, and have no trouble going beyond godlike each game with the build I use.
If you pick, starting items should be Ring of regeneration, a ring of protection, and 3 tengos.
This gives you good early hp regeneration for staying on lane and both the items will be turned into your vlads.
Ursa should always take either bot or top lane.
This gives you access to the goblin shop, where next you will pick up a sobi mask, combining with your ring of protection to turn into Ring of the basilus and a quelling blade. Continue to lane, last hitting and denying creeps. Finish that vlads!!
Next, this hero is one of the few who are able to solo roshan!
I usally try to Rosh at level 9. This gives you 4 points into fury swipes, 3 into overpower, and one into enrage. I try to only rosh with Vlads, Quelling blade, and one bracer. Yes thats all you need, I do this all the time in Non -Em games.
Then from there you're pretty much set to do what you want.
More items that are nice on Ursa.
-Phase boots
-lothars
-Vanguard
-Blink dagger
-AC
-Basher

Just an overview.
Pros
-Very good Hp gain for a Agi hero.
-High damage output
-Ability to solo roshan
-Best orb in the game

Cons
-Item dependent
-Because of the orb, Can not take any other orbs.
-Low Agi gain for a Agi Hero
